Organica is currently looking to fill a Project Engineer in India reporting to the Sr. Director – Contracts.
Summary of the Position
Oversee technical aspects of the project from contract signing till handover including engineering, site supervision, planning, cost control and client relationship management.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Overseeing planning and all technical aspects of the project.
- Planning and directing the engineering for the project.
- Regularly visiting site to ensure work is progressing as per our design, and client feels our support.
- Ensure all work is done in line with the scope as per contract and in line with technical specification committed to the client.
- Managing the project budget and engineering hours.
- Coordinating with Supply Chain for procurement of technically compliant equipment for the project, while remaining within the budget.
- Maintaining a positive and cooperative relationship with the client and asset owner to ensure smooth project execution.
- Coordination with client and consultant for preparation of engineering documents and Organica Products specifications and securing approval for the same.
- Participation in the preparation of technical proposals, information sheets, contracts, etc, for India region.
- Planning and overseeing travel requirements for the project.
- Planning and directing installation of equipment supplied by OW to ensure it is done properly.
- Overseeing and coordinating commissioning activities to meet performance test requirement and process guarantees.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in chemical/environmental/mechanical/electrical engineering.
- Experience: 5+ years in total of which 2+ years in water industry.
- Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or equivalent Software.

Work Conditions
- Travel: Frequent travel to and from the site may be required.
